Taitaja 2004 FinnSkills -competition is an event where the most skilled students of Vocational institutions from all over Finland are competing. In Taitaja 2004, there is total of 36 different competitions and about 300 competitors for different professional fields. Seinäjoki is a growing city of 31 300 inhabitants in Southern Ostrobothnia. The area provides plenty of secondary and higher level of education. Seinäjoki is also a city of big music festivals. Taitaja 2004 FinnSkills -competition is organized to develop learning and practical knowhow. At the same time there are three different events: - Taitaja 9 - skills competition for pupils under 16 years old
- SeNuko-fair for jobs and education
- International congress for entrepreneurs and professionals in education
Next TAITAJA in Turku, Finland Turku is one of the oldest towns in Finland and has long traditions as education centre. Many of the competitors, who represent Finland in the WorldSkills-competition, are trained in Turku vocational institutes. TAITAJA 2005 FinnSkills-competition will take place in Turku.
